About
Born in Germany, raised between Damascus and Dubai. Trained in interior architecture at Damascus University's Faculty of Fine Arts — chosen over medicine, against the wishes of a father who ran his own hospital and painted in oils on the side.
Moved to Dubai in 2012 and co-founded 4SPACE the same year with Amjad Hourieh. The studio designs and delivers restaurants, bars, hotels, retail, offices and large-scale entertainment across the GCC: 300+ completed projects, 50+ industry awards, and a reputation for building ideas that had not been built before.
Named CID MENA Interior Designer of the Year in 2023. SBID-accredited. Ranked #14 in Construction Week's Power 150 (2026, Architects & Designers). International judge for the SBID International Design Awards, AHEAD and Frame Awards. Brought the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards to Dubai in 2025.
Speaks and mentors on AI × creativity, and makes short films with AI tools as a personal practice — restrained, cinematic, heritage-leaning, and mostly under 25 seconds.
